And, there we have it.  The Review has given influence to the rebellion also. They thought the SECC article was a good thing to say about the rebellion. ENNO MÜELLER apparently made the decision to publish the SECC's view of things. This is a crisis in the church and to remain silent would be treason.

He is the SECC Interim Communications Direction. It is his article. The Review made sure to have that statement at the top.

The following article was prepared by the Southeastern California Conference Communication Department. -- Editors

I did not recognize the name. There is no communications director at the Review.

NAD News Points has a link to "Corona’s Sandra Roberts makes Adventist history" shown here.

They are proud of their new conference president.

They know this will offend the rest of the world church, and they have calculated that they are strong enough to "go it alone" if need be.

It reminds me of the men who went up to take Ai, in the Bible.

rejoice always,

" Roberts said there is a “disconnect” between the church’s view of White and the debate over women’s ordination. "

What is that supposed to mean ?

I take offense to Mrs. White being called "White". It is an indicator as to how this women feels about the work of EGW.

From NAD NewPoints - October 31, 2013: Source

Seventh-day Adventist world church officials today released a statement regarding a local conference that recently elected as president a person who is not recognized by the world church as an ordained minister. Ordination is one of the criteria for being a conference president. The statement, in its entirety, follows:

Apparently the GC is going to wait until the session in 2015 to decide the fate of the SECC and others who have rebelled.  This makes sense.  While we may desire to see swift justice against the rebellion, we also must do things decently and in order.  I do not expect that the world church will vote to accept the ordination of women to the ministry, but Wilson may be wise in waiting for the 2015 decision.  That is what he has been asking those who wish to ordain women to do.  If he were to take retributive action prior to that time, he could be accused of violating his own principles.
True, the church did vote not to approve ordination of women at the last session, but the study groups on the theology of ordination were also established at that time to decide this matter definitively.  To act against these rebellious groups before the decision is given could lessen the credibility of the GC in the eyes of those who are straddling the fence on this issue.  If the GC does everything above board and follows its own direction, it may sway some of those who haven't made up their minds to follow the correct path.

I am one of those that would love to see quick and appropriate justice.  But God may be allowing these rebellious groups time for repentance or to "make their cup full."  God is in control!

I too, believe God is leading Elder Wilson and the world church. There is a separation taking place. We have pointed out long ago that there are some lines that have been drawn in the sand. This is one of them. Men and women are choosing whom they will follow. We have done all we can to point them to the truth, Bible truth. Because they are rejecting Bible truth and the authority of their own bylaws and the world church, they are in a very dangerous place. Like the Jews who wanted to say they accepted John the Baptist, but would not accept Jesus, we see the same in that they profess to keep the law, yet in fact by their actions they don't.

This is just in from the PEBlogger: Source

Pastor Sandra Roberts will be recognized as an Adventist Church conference president during a church meeting that begins today.

Her role at the annual North American Division meeting was uncertain. Before the Corona resident was elected the Seventh-day Adventist Church’s first female conference president on Sunday, world church president Ted Wilson warned that the worldwide body would not recognize her. The world church does not permit the ordination of women. Conference presidents must be ordained pastors.

But North American division spokesman George Johnson said in an email Thursday morning that “Pastor Roberts will have (a) voice and vote just like any executive committee member of the North American Division.”

And further down is this:

Gerry Chudleigh, spokesman for the Pacific Union Conference, said the division’s decision to recognize Roberts “is a big sigh of relief.”

He said the decision wasn’t surprising, because the Southeastern conference followed the correct policy and procedures in electing Roberts.

“We didn’t see any basis whatsoever in which she could not be seen as president of the Southeastern California Conference,” he said.

I would like concrete evidence of what is being reported.

I believe you'll have your concrete soon enough.  Maybe not soon enough for you and me, but soon enough.  I doubt it will be disputable when it is reported.

For some time I have not been current on this aspect of rebellion in the world church. However, after going through this thread, it is clear to see that it is progressing. If it is indeed true that the North American Division recognizes this woman president, then they are taking an obvious stand against what Pastor Wilson said about not recognizing her.

I think the Lord is allowing things to become more clear and obvious so that no honest individuals will have a chance to be deceived. It seems as if the line of demarcation between those who serve God and those who do not, is gradually coming more sharply into focus. In God's mercy, He does not want anyone to be deceived, so He is allowing those who do not want to serve Him to show the fruit of their rebellion. I will be praying for them that they can yet turn in repentance.

If the NAD and the conferences and unions continue down this road, they will end up disqualifying themselves from being able to participate and vote at the 2015 GC sessions.

How could the NAD, conferences and unions, according to policy, be disqualified from participation?

Would that be the entire division or just the leadership?
