German Confernce Rebels Against Church
« on: May 16, 2015, 02:58:22 PM »
It is being reported that at their constituency meeting last Sunday,  the Berlin-Central German Conference of Seventh-day Adventists voted to allow the ordination of women pastors. There was an attempt to block the move, but it failed. The Northern German Union rebelled in 2012 when 160 princes voted to not follow the world church decision to not ordain women pastors.

Rebellion in the church continues to spread. We understand if rebellion is not checked it will continue to spread. It is a revelation of the apostasy taking place in Western Europe, North America, and Australia. The world has come into the church and it is patterning the church after their society. The North German Union had voted prior to the San Antonio GC Session voted on the ordination of women pastors. But, they did not ordain any. The Division approves of women's ordination, but expressed concern that it would be against the vote of the world churches.

The North German Union Executive Committee, in its online meeting on Sunday April 25, among other issues, decided to re-instate the 2012 resolution of their Constituency Meeting to ordain women to the Pastoral Ministry. Pastor Mario Brito, president of the Inter-European Division of the Seventh-day Adventist Church (EUD/Adventist), who was present, followed the engaged debate and asked the participants not to lose sight that Adventist Church is a Worldwide Organization. “I am not against the ordination of women being carried out in Europe while other parts of the world may choose not to do so. My concern is that we will do this against a decision of the General Conference Session.” He recommended not to follow the proposed direction.

In its regular meeting on December 6, the Executive Committee of the Seventh-day Adventist Church in Southern Germany (South German Union/SDV) voted to allow the equal ordination of men and women in pastoral ministry.

In doing so, the Church has made ordination practice uniform throughout Germany. The North German Union had already decided on equal ordination on April 25, 2021.

The two unions in Germany are now in harmony in their rebellion against the Bible and against the world church that has three times said "no" to ordaining women pastors. Good is called evil and evil is called good in the world. In Germany the world is now running the unions, things are upside down with women usurping the authority given men (Genesis 3:16, 1 Tim. 2:12-15). There is great pressure now  being put on Christian Churches in immoral societies. Next the Germans will be ordaining homosexuals because the world says to. This was the same idea that the president of the Trans-European Division (Wicklander) expressed some years ago, that the only way to get new members was to make parity between men and women.
