A Line Drawn in the Sand
« on: August 14, 2012, 08:53:35 PM »
When the Columbia Union Conference of Seventh-day Adventists rejected Scripture, the World Church's rejection of women's ordination, and the plea from the president of the General Conference, Pastor Ted Wilson, it opened a door that may lead to an unrepairable fracture in the Seventh-day Adventist Church. The C.U.C. constituency meeting voted to allow its conferences to begin ordaining women pastors in direct opposition to the World Church which said no to women's ordination in Indianapolis in 1990 and again in Utrecht in 1995 during General Conference Sessions.

We began a petition to support the World Church, but kept it relatively private so as to not bring reproach upon God and His Church. But, since the New York Times has published on this crisis, we no longer can hope that the news will not spread around the world. It is our desire to encourage all to stand on God's side of the line that is drawn in the sand. Stand with the World Church and on God's Word. Sign the petition to show your support and tell others to sign it also.

Jesus receives His reward when we reflect His character, the fruits of the Spirit......We deny Jesus His reward when we do not.
