Those who have been studying the Bible to show themselves approved, may be interested in modern day fulfillment of prophecies. One such prophecy has led me to many years of study, Daniel 11:45. It is of great importance because of the verse that follows it, Daniel 12:1. "And at that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince which standeth for the children of thy people: and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time: and at that time thy people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book."
It took many years before I could teach who it is that is King of the North in Daniel 11:45, Turkey. Today, it was may clear to me that Turkey in order to be the King of the North today would have to go through a transformation in character. How so? Turkey is a member state of NATO. NATO would not have a member state that would attack Jerusalem. As an example, can you imagine Iran being a member of NATO? No, it would be impossible for such a thing as Iran desires to wipe Israel and the United States off the face of the Earth. Then how is it that Turkey is a member of NATO?
One must go back in time to understand that when she was brought into NATO she was a democratic republic patterned after European states even though she was an Islamic Country. There was at that time a marked separation between the Islamic religion and the state. Great efforts had been made to do this. In the religion of Islam there is to be no separation between church and state. It was not an easy thing to maintain this separation, for there were devout Muslims that wanted to follow the Quran and the Hadith wherein there would be Sharia law. The Muslim Brotherhood from within and without the Turkey made many efforts to change this state of affairs. But, when efforts were made to overthrow Turkey's Constitution, the Turkish military would step in and put a stop to it.
We will continue to share more the on transformation taking place in Turkey that will allow Turkey to fulfill the prophecy in Daniel 11:45. Or has the transformation already taken place? If so, then Daniel 12:1 is not far away.
