Photopic Sky Survey
« on: May 13, 2011, 09:22:50 AM »
Wow! Look at this! The Photopic Sky Survey is a 5,000 megapixel photograph of the entire night sky stitched together from 37,440 exposures. Large in size and scope, it portrays a world far beyond the one beneath our feet and reveals our familiar Milky Way with unfamiliar clarity.
  For ever, O LORD, thy word is settled in heaven. Psalm 119:89

Makes a person want to be there with tireless flight, wings, robe of light, the whole works.

I read once in an RN magazine that if a person had a metabolic cycle not needing red blood cells they could not drown, I assume never be bothered by lack of air or an atmosphere made of air.

The glorified Jesus spoke of being flesh and bone, but not flesh and blood.  If it's what I suspect, then glorified human metabolism might not have to depend upon an atmosphere based red blood cell supported metabolism.     Be at home in space or on a world or Earth, whatever.   ;D

Luke 24:39  Behold my hands and my feet, that it is I myself: handle me, and see; for a spirit hath not flesh and bones, as ye see me have.

1 Corinthians 15:50  Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption.

51   Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed,
52  In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.
53  For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.
54  So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory.

Philippians 3:21  Who shall change our vile body, that it may be fashioned like unto his glorious body, according to the working whereby he is able even to subdue all things unto himself.
Grateful for Psalms 32 and Titus 2:10 - The divinity of Christ is acknowledged in the unity of the children of God.  {11MR 266.2}
