Thunderbird and hyperlink "sourcing"
« on: February 10, 2010, 03:58:16 PM »
Old dogs can learn new tricks, especially if they follow directions!

I have just learned how to embed a hyperlink in an e-mail (Thunderbird client) and will share with those who use Thunderbird. For those who already know how to do this, bear with us!

Open "Write" to compose the e-mail.

Click on body of the e-mail message where you want the link.

Click on "Insert" on the top toolbar.

    Click on "Link"

A box will open and tell you what to do next:

"Enter the text to display for the link"

then ...

Type (copy and paste) the url and press "Okay"

You have a link without a really long url on the page. :D
