Resolution in Support of Home Schooling Introduced in California Assembly Your Support for ACR 115 Needed Now!!!
In the wake of the recent appellate court decision holding that parents have no constitutional right to educate their children at home, Assembly Member Joel Anderson, from the San Diego area, has introduced a resolution criticizing the court's decision, and calling on the California Supreme Court to reverse the decision.
Home schooling has been respected by the State of California for many years. We do not believe the legislative scheme is broken, and in need of fixing. For this reason, it is especially urgent that this Resolution gain support as part of a strategy to prevent a more comprehensive legislative approach that could ultimately impose substantial restrictions on home schooling. The complete text of the Resolution appears below.
